PREAMBLE : THE CLOSING MAYOR OF LORAIN JACK BRADLEY’S DISASTER DEMO – ST JOSEPH’S COMMUNITY CENTER …. LORAIN OHIO.
As I write this on a beautiful September morning 2025 my thoughts are turning toward the past 4.5 years of writing about St. Joes, the shame of an administration that claim NO SHAME or RESPONSIBILITY .
I am breathing in cool clean air washed by an early morning rain , a perfect periwinkle blue sky scattered with fluffy white clouds provide a back drop for trees whose leaves are shimmering , emerald and peridot hues quivering in a cool breeze and sparkling with rays of sunshine.
There is a quiet this morning, the splashing of the garden waterfall and a special kind of quiet permeated the air, only to be broken by the sound of a lone dog wanting attention a couple of streets away. If silence is golden this morning, then I am very wealthy indeed today.
It is absolutely a beautiful day in this place of Lorain, Ohio that I have called home for 53 years., where I have lived in my starter home, married to a gentle and honorable man, tried to do what I could for this my “new hometown” , raised my children, laughed with my grandchildren , found numerous friends and some enemies 🙂
Rose of Sharron, in their many colors are dotted in amongst the greenery . Last roses of summer struggle to bloom before the tempest of rainy frosty days to come that will leave a harshness and barebones of winter’s destruction.
I am reminded that 16 blocks away stands a monument to man’s ineptness , lies, lack of foresight and disgrace. Men of an Administration, people of politics, the sweeping away of decency and accountability under the preverbal political rug. Who apparently will never be held accountable by ANYONE including our own City Council for the destruction of trust , intelligence, toxicity and waste perpetuated on this community .
And not only in this community …. the American Tax payers.. those wonderful grants that we pay for local, statewide and national, all our dollar ear marked for supposedly a better quality of life are being gathered in in their millions
to pay for the decisions of a few, ………never have so many been asked to PAY for the decisions of a few behind those closed doors. These conversations have all been documented , the paperwork up loaded for all to see on these pages. ( see links)
To paraphrase Winston Churchill, (forgive me Winnie but the lives that I can see having a unhealthy future because of these decisions , bring me to the negative ,not thanking them .
Continuing in my paraphrasing ‘ I HOLD MY TRUTHS HERE ON OH HER AGAIN), TO BE SELF- EVIDENT …. There are many proofs positives and evidence on these pages that Mayor Bradly and his Administration have done to this demo!
with this debacle right from February 2nd 2020 when he said he knew nothing , until after the sale by the the 501C3 …. well apparently he did.. the “beginning”

would find their behaviour reprehensible. Although it seems a winning smile and party politics dismiss any responsibility by the residents, backers and overseeing organizations in government agencies, Four and Half years of research and thousands of words , all backing documents would think would bring some mention or questioning.. aparently not .
Millions and Millions to be spent… , monies not accounted for with a 501 C3??? It is tax payers money even if it is not locally sourced Tuesday’s Sept 2nd Agenda and the money keeps adding up
As I continue with the last chapters of the END OF THE BEGINNING BFORE THE ENDING OF TAKE DOWN AND UNDER THE RUG … SHE GOES ….. HAPPENS IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS. GONE AND FORGOTTEN AND THE GLAD HANDING OF GRANTS……..There is one aspect in the months of research, which won’t be found in the last chapter. WHAT ISN’T THERE AND WASN’T THEREAND IN CONCLUSION NEVER DONE?
The documentation that shows due diligence was done doesn’t exist, no reports of follow up, inspections , taking of toxic waste to the dumps. not there as the destruction took place by what Mayor Bradley called Criminal, he should know shouldn’t he?????…… It was his appointed Safety Service Director Maxmillian Upton who introduced those so called criminals and developers to Lorain and it was Bradley’s decision to keep City Of Lorain Legal Dept out of the picture in the “agreement meeting” ( again documented )
I have confirmation ( which will be shown in the next continuation the protocol of EPA and Ohio Government not being adhered to.
This is remarkable because it is what is NOT documented in those last days of destruction that is most shocking because this isn’t wheeling and dealing, getting it down and making themselves look good … THIS WAS AND IS A HEALTH ISSUE AND PEOPLE’S LIVES AT RISK.
This is similar tear down in Clevland done properly (months, not years sitting there blowing asbestos in the wind for 4 years) : with protocols followed and paperwork adhered to

Not to say that Lorain didn’t ever take down part of St, Josephs Hospital correctly………..
In 2015 the previous administration under Chase Ritenauer did follow EPA guidelines etc. You would think the Mayor Bradley would have checked how it was to be done before costing the Amercian Taxpayer millions for his ineptness and out right arrogance in my opinion

And so I will catalogue next what wasn’t done as there isn’t any paperwork, the costs and upload the reports the files , the who didn’t appear to follow through……….. but then again there is a lovely piece of art work with blue skies and fluffy clouds
It is the crap that “lies” beneath this pretty picture that is just as toxic as the chemicals and asbestos that is not shown !
